Originally composed for a royal boating excursion on the River Thames in 1717, these orchestral suites are a joyful showcase of Baroque vibrancy and variety. The ensemble is joined by esteemed soloist Imogen Whitehead for a performance of the dazzling Trumpet Concerto by Czech composer Johann Baptist Georg Neruda.”
