Recent Highlights

On Friday 21st April I performed as a soloist at St Martin-in-the-Fields, in a concert featuring Neruda’s Trumpet Concerto and Purcell’s Trumpet Sonata in D Major. Follow the link below to watch the performances on YouTube:

NERUDA & PURCELL

In May 2022 I travelled to the Czech Republic to record a new concerto for trumpet and flugelhorn, written by Barry Mills, with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra. This CD has now been released and is available to buy and listen to on Spotify:

Upcoming Concerts

Ulster Orchestra, Belfast

On Friday 26th May, I will be performing as Guest Principal Trumpet with the Ulster Orchestra for their 2022/23 Season finale concert: Bella Italia. This programme, conducted by Daniele Rustioni, will feature works by Elgar and Berlioz and will conclude with Respighi’s masterpiece, Pines of Rome.

LSO Live: Trafalgar Square

On Saturday 10th June, I will be playing with the London Symphony Orchestra as part of BMW Classics in Trafalgar Square, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle. This event (5.00pm) is free and non-ticketed and will also be streamed live on YouTube.

Aurora Orchestra - The Rite of Spring

This summer I am excited to be performing as Guest Principal Trumpet with Aurora Orchestra for their highly anticipated, memorised performance of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring at the BBC Proms. There will be two performances on Saturday 2nd September, plus concerts at Snape Maltings, Saffron Hall and abroad.
Proms tickets go on sale this Saturday (13th May) at 9.00am.
