Concert Tomorrow!

My album launch concert is tomorrow at 4pm. I’m so looking forward to performing at St Martin-in-the-Fields, alongside pianist Jennifer Walsh, to share the music from my album live.

The concert will be presented by BBC Radio 3’s Linton Stephens, who will also be interviewing composers Sally Beamish, Roxanna Panufnik, Charlotte Harding and Andy Scott.

There will be drinks afterwards at The Marquis (Chandos Place). I hope to see you there if you can make it!

In the run-up to both my album launch and my upcoming Hummel Trumpet Concerto performances with Britten Sinfonia, I’ve been having some enjoyable conversations with various media outlets. After tomorrow’s concert there will be an opportunity for people to donate towards this project. A share of the proceeds will also go to two charities:

- The Christopher Horn Trust (a charity supporting young brass players at music college - I was a recipient in 2012 and put the award towards buying my piccolo trumpet!)

- The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields - the church’s charity working to help those experiencing homelessness in London.
